I Finally Saw New Moon

Last night, with a cup of hot ginger tea, I ordered Twilight Saga: New Moon on IO on Demand. It was well worth the $4.95. I was never able to get to the theater, so I had to wait. It was worth the wait.

The acting was much better than in Twilight, they were more believable. Kristen Stewart looked so pretty, and Taylor and Rob, as handsome as ever. Once "Jacob" cut his hair, he was looked incredibly more mature and good looking. The 20 lbs of muscle he put on for the role was noticeable, and it made sense that he was shirtless for a lot of the movie. "Edward" was his debonair self, adorable and mysterious.

I feel as if they left some parts of the book out, but it's understandable due to time restraints.

The wolves didn't quite look like what I expected, but I saw that in the coming attractions, so I wasn't that surprised. They were cute wolves.

I do like the books better, but seeing it played out on screen with such a great cast, well, it's neat!

I was left wanting more, at the end chanting "marry him, Bella, of course, marry him"! I can't wait to see Eclipse.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is due out June 30 2010.

Taylor Lautner- Fittest Male Celeb of '09

December 20th 2009 Lautner was named FitSugar's "Fittest Male Celeb of 2009."

Fitsugar.com
conducted a poll to see who the readers the thought was the fittest male celeb of 2009, and Lautner scored nearly half of all the votes submitted.

Lautner bulked up for his role in New Moon. Rigorous work outs, and lots of meals, Lautner packed on thirty pounds of muscle for the movie.

Upcoming movies that we can see Taylor Lautner in: Valentine's Day and Max Steel.

He is also a rumored candidate as an Armani model.

"New Moon" on DVD-February 2010

"Twilight Saga: New Moon" has been in theaters for almost a month, but I still haven't been able to see it. No time, etc. etc. There is hope for me though... in case my plans to see it this Saturday go bust, I can always plan on renting the DVD. Although it won't be the same on a small screen, it's better than nothing. The DVD is due out in February. I know girls will be flocking to Blockbuster to rent a copy.

"According to a new report, the DVD will be released in February of 2010."

New Moon Reviews

I haven't seen the flick yet, however the reviews I'm reading are so/so. Places like rotten tomatoes, and reelzchannel aren't loving the second installment.

Here's an example: "This is a soap opera, folks — and acceptable escapism for those old enough to see it yet still young enough to shriek at undead dreamboats."— Anna Smith, Time Out New York. (http://www.reelzchannel.com/movie-news/5097/new-moon-reviews)

A nicer review: "[Director] Weitz brings a few more flickers of humour to the narrative, but the essential, appealing earnestness of the book remains, whole-heartedly embraced. New Moon is a story about longing, and loss, and the dangers of desire."— Philippa Hawker, The Age (Australia)(http://www.reelzchannel.com/movie-news/5097/new-moon-reviews)

I am planning on seeing it, of course. But I will be waiting until it calms down, and I'll go when the theater won't be packed, and my $11 fee won't be wasted on teens talking and screaming.
Did you see it? Please let me know what you thought. Write a quick review, click on comments below.
I'll post my review once I see it.
Thank you!
