"New Moon" on DVD-February 2010
"Twilight Saga: New Moon" has been in theaters for almost a month, but I still haven't been able to see it. No time, etc. etc. There is hope for me though... in case my plans to see it this Saturday go bust, I can always plan on renting the DVD. Although it won't be the same on a small screen, it's better than nothing. The DVD is due out in February. I know girls will be flocking to Blockbuster to rent a copy.

New Moon Reviews
A nicer review: "[Director] Weitz brings a few more flickers of humour to the narrative, but the essential, appealing earnestness of the book remains, whole-heartedly embraced. New Moon is a story about longing, and loss, and the dangers of desire."— Philippa Hawker, The Age (Australia)(http://www.reelzchannel.com/movie-news/5097/new-moon-reviews)

'Eclipse' Casts 'Eastwick' Actor as Royce King II
Summit Entertainment has added another cast member into "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse". The Hollywood Reporter has tipped that Jack Huston may join Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in the third installment of the vampire drama movies.
The nephew of actors Anjelica Huston and Danny Huston will play the part of Royce King II. The character is described as a human that lived during the Great Depression and was engaged to Rosalie Hale. Hence, it is likely that this 26-year-old will be sharing screen with Nikki Reed, the actress who plays Rosalie.
Previously, Summit has recruited several other new cast members. Australian actor Xavier Samuel is tapped to play Riley, and Jodelle Ferland is set to portray a character which is described as "a vampire who has just been turned". Beside adding new members, the studio also replaced Rachelle Lefevre, who has starred as Victoria in "Twilight" and "The Twilight Saga's New Moon", with Bryce Dallas Howard.
"The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" Director: by David Slade, the film has a U.S. release date schedule of June 30, 2010.

Rob Pattinson hit by cab
British actor Robert Pattinson, one of Hollywood's current young heartthrobs, was clipped by a taxi Thursday in New York while filming a new movie.
The 23-year-old star had been shooting a scene at a Manhattan bookstore when he attempted to cross the street and was grazed by a taxicab.
According to media reports, Pattinson had been attempting to escape a clutch of overzealous teen fans.
Witnesses reported that Pattinson did not appear to require medical attention, walked away from the incident and returned to work on Remember Me, a forthcoming romantic drama.
A spokesperson later downplayed the incident.
"The reports are exaggerated," Vivian Mayer, a spokeswoman for the film's production company, said in an interview. "It was not caused by his fans."
Pattinson, whose credits include a secondary role in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and portraying surrealist master Salvador Dali in the film Little Ashes, shot to international stardom in 2008 as the male lead of Twilight, the film adaptation of the hit vampire fantasy novel series by Stephenie Meyer. Since his breakout role as the heroic, love-struck vampire Edward Cullen, Pattinson has regularly been mobbed by fans.
Pattinson, who recently picked up several trophies at the MTV Movie Awards for Twilight, has completed shooting New Moon, the second film based on Meyer's series.

Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen) talks New Moon romances
Twilight cutie Ashley Greene hosted an event at Kitson last night benefiting the Donate My Dress Charity in WeHo.
We heart Ash, so natch we had to snatch her first and get some of those nasty little hookup questions off our chest, before going back and celebrating a great cause.
Ash dished the possibility of Robsten and...Jackley?
Filming New Moon seems different fromTwilight. Is it too overwhelming now?
It's seriously so much fun still. Not too overwhelming yet, because I'm really enjoying and lucky to be doing what I'm doing. Everyone on the set is friends—we all go out together and have dinners. But yeah, it's crazy because all of a sudden everyone cares what you're wearing, what you're drinking, who you're kissing.
Who you're kissing, huh? Does that mean things are getting frisky up in Vancouver? We hear things about Rob and Kristen.
This is the thing, I look at magazines. I don't know why, but other people's lives intrigue us for some reason. Especially with this movie in particular, all of our chemistry is so great onscreen that people want it to be real off screen, and even if it isn't, they are still going to say that it is.
Well, we also hear you might be dating your onscreen love, Jackson Rathbone, too. True?
[Grins] Um...Jackson is a sweetheart. But we're...um. No.
Well!
Ashley's publicist then came up and said that J & A "seriously" weren't dating, but we think everything was in that sexy little smirk. Dating was probably the wrong word. Maybe (and hopefully) they are just enjoying their time filming together, like so many others up there are.
Ms. Greene is quite refreshing. It's rare in this town to find a gal who is actually having fun and who is grateful for a job tons would kill for.
Can't wait to hear what happens when Rob, Kristen and Ashley go to Italy in a bit to start filming over there. Fri., May. 1, 2009source http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/the_awful_truth/b121709_ashley_greene_dishes_new_moon_romances.html

"Twilight" star Robert Pattinson is Salvador Dali
Pattinson's newest film, Paul Morrison's "Little Ashes". Shot before "Twilight" made Pattinson a tousle-haired poster boy, the film, set primarily in the 1920s, is about the relationship between Spanish poet-playwright Frederico Garcia Lorca (Javier Beltran) and Surrealist gadfly Salvador Dali (Pattinson). What begins as a mutual admiration society of up-and-coming artists becomes much, much more. Speculation has it that Lorca and Dali were, or almost became, lovers. The film goes there, to a degree that made Pattinson very uncomfortable until he actually saw it.
Pattinson was 21 when he made the film, and he looks it. Ironically, he faces the opposite problem with the "Twilight" series. His character, Edward, never ages, so he has to look like an undead teenager through the three sequels he's contractually obligated to appear in.
"I think all of them will be done within a year and half," he says. "The whole thing is about change and aging. So it would look ridiculous if I'm playing 17 when I look 35."

Wolf Pack & Cullen Band
Have you seen the new picture of the Wolf Pack yet? We got the goods and you will flip when you see this wolf pack; they are really making it hard for the Cullen boys. Speaking of Cullen's, how great would it be to have a Cullen Family Band? In a recent interview, Jackson talks about jamming with Rob and Kristen all the time and joked about starting the Cullen Family Band.

Cullen Family Band
How cool does the Cullen Family Band sound, really? Jackson Rathbone recently spoke with Nylon Magazine about his band, 100 Monkeys, and jamming out with fellow New Moon costars. Rathbone said, "Kristen and Rob are both very musically inclined, so we would have jam sessions. It was like the Cullen Family Band." I think that we should make a formal request that the Cullen family Band put out a teaser for the fans that they can thoroughly enjoy!
